The Planning Process
Disney offers a wide range of customizable wedding packages, each inspired by a different Disney theme, such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, and more. And, you won’t be on your own throughout the entire planning process! How Much Does a Disney Wedding Cost?
The cost of a Disney wedding varies a lot and depends on a variety of factors, such as the size of the wedding party, the venue, the day of the week you have your wedding, and any services and experiences that you choose to add on.
While there are ways to do a Disney wedding on the cheaper end, Disney World’s event minimums start at $15,000. This means that — no matter what — you’re going to be shelling out at least $15K (and usually, that only applies to weekday ceremonies and receptions!). The ceremony fee, food and beverage, venue cost, entertainment, floral and decor, and more go towards that event minimum.
For couples who want an even more elaborate and customized experience, the sky’s the limit in terms of cost. For example, a wedding at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with a reception in the Grand Floridian Ballroom, featuring a premium bar, plated dinner, floral and decor upgrades, and entertainment can cost upwards of $50,000 or more.

Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort
Ariel’s
Ariel’s may no longer be open as a table service restaurant for the average guest visiting Disney World, but it is still a Disney Fairy Tale Weddings venue! Located inside Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Ariel’s can accommodate 10 to 50 guests for receptions, rehearsal dinners, or farewell brunches.
The venue is elegantly themed to the classic Disney movie, The Little Mermaid, with an ocean-inspired color scheme, hand-blown-glass bubbles, and fish clustered around the light fixtures. And, when it comes to food, you’ll select from a buffet menu.
Crescent Cove
If you’re looking for a mix between a beach wedding and a Disney wedding, Crescent Cove just might be the best of both worlds! Located on the white-sand shores of Crescent Lake near Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club, you can say your vows, host your reception, or even book the spot for a rehearsal dinner or farewell brunch. Just note that you may hear some noise from guests enjoying the pool, as Stormalong Bay is nearby.

Shipwreck Beach
If Crescent Cove is a little too small for the size of your wedding, check out the nearby Shipwreck Beach! This spot accommodates up to 1,000 guests and offers the same beachy, waterside vibes for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, or farewell brunches.

Disney’s Yacht Club Wedding Gazebo
Disney’s Yacht Club Wedding Gazebo is a more traditional location and can only be booked for ceremonies (so you’ll have to book another Disney venue for your reception). Guests will be seated in the rose garden and the balconies of the rooms at the resort will be your backdrop! The location can accommodate up to 120 guests.

Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Ballrooms
Prefer something indoors? Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club is home to several different ballrooms that can accommodate as little as 10 guests all the way up to 1,800 guests for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, or farewell brunches. The grand ballrooms can be customized to the size that you need and features nautical decor with shades of blue, gold, red, and white.
One of the big benefits of holding your wedding in the ballrooms is that there’s much more flexibility in when your wedding happens. While many Disney wedding venues have time restrictions and event cut-offs, the ballrooms can usually be booked around your preferred schedule.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Atlantic Dance Hall
If you want your wedding to be a full-on dance party, the Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s BoardWalk offers the perfect atmosphere! With a checkerboard dance floor, a stage for live bands or a DJ, multilevel balcony seating, and space to fit 10 to 150 guests, it’s nearly impossible not to have a good time in the art-deco-inspired ballroom.
The Atlantic Dance Hall can be booked for receptions, rehearsal dinners, or farewell brunches. Just note that weddings must end by 8PM on Tuesdays through Saturdays here.
The Attic
For a more intimate reception, rehearsal dinner, or farewell brunch, consider the “best-kept secret” at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn — The Attic! The bright and airy secluded venue can accommodate up to 34 guests in addition to the couple and features floor-to-ceiling windows with some of the best views of Crescent Lake.
The venue also has a wraparound deck that overlooks the lake, so your guests can enjoy some fresh air too!
Croquet Lawn
The Croquet Lawn at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is a semi-private ceremony and reception venue that is located on the water canal that connects EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the resort as your backdrop. It is one of Disney Fairy Tale Weddings’ largest “private lawn venues,” accommodating up to 200 guests, though you may hear noise from boats and park guests passing by.

Sea Breeze Point
Sea Breeze Point at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn offers breathtaking views of Crescent Lake. Available for both ceremonies and receptions, the venue is located on a spacious lawn and features Disney World’s largest gazebo as the focal point. The surrounding palm trees and colorful flowers create a tropical ambiance, making it a great choice for couples who want a beachy wedding vibe without being on the sand.
The venue can accommodate up to 68 guests, making it an ideal choice for intimate weddings. When it comes to cost, the ceremony venue fee is $7,000 for Sea Breeze Point and the overall event minimum is $15,000 to $19,000 depending on the day of the week and time of day you have your event.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Ballrooms
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has three different ballrooms that can accommodate anywhere from 10 up to 300 guests, depending on the room that you choose. The Promenade Ballroom is the largest, with Marvin Gardens Hall and St. James Hall & Patio being the smaller two ballrooms. The nice thing about the smaller rooms is that they each feature an outdoor area that can be configured with more seating and a buffet station.
All three ballrooms can be booked for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches. Plus, they offer more flexibility with event timing compared to other Disney World wedding venues.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
California Grill
If you’re looking for a venue with a breathtaking view of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom, California Grill is just that! Located on the top floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the signature restaurant is transformed into an intimate spot for wedding lunch receptions and farewell brunches that can accommodate 10 to 120 guests, including the couple.
The menu can be customized with global flavors from the Mediterranean to Latin to Asian, with flatbreads being one of the signature menu items here. Just note that any events booked here need to end by 3PM since the restaurant opens for guests in the evening.
Napa and Sonoma Rooms at California Grill
Instead of booking the entire restaurant, you can choose to book one of the two private dining rooms at California Grill for your reception, rehearsal dinner, or farewell brunch — the Napa or Sonoma Room. Each offers similar noteworthy views of Bay Lake and Magic Kingdom from the top floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, though they do differ in a few ways.
The Napa Room has a built-in bar and its own private door to California Grill’s observation deck (with some of the best views of Magic Kingdom!). Whereas, the Sonoma Room is best for smaller parties and features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Bay Lake (not Magic Kingdom). Both include a California-style plated menu and can be booked later into the evening.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort Ballrooms
If you want to host your ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, or farewell brunch at Disney’s Contemporary Resort but need more flexibility with the time of your event or have a larger guest list, consider the ballrooms!
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Ballroom can accommodate between 10 to 450 guests and doesn’t sacrifice on atmosphere! With floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook an outdoor courtyard (which can also be used during your event) and a foyer that features a grand piano (making it a great place for cocktail hour), the venue offers the convenience of being able to host both your ceremony and reception in one place.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Casitas Courtyard
The Casitas Courtyard wedding venue is one of the most picturesque and romantic wedding destinations in Disney World. La Mesa Patio
The La Mesa Patio is another ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, and farewell brunch location at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Ballrooms
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort features three ballrooms that can be booked for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches — the Coronado Ballroom, the Fiesta Ballroom, and the Veracruz Ballroom. Each ballroom offers a unique atmosphere, but all are beautifully decorated and can be customized to fit the wedding theme and style. The Coronado Ballroom is the largest, with a capacity of up to 1,000 guests, while the Fiesta and Veracruz ballrooms are ideal for more intimate gatherings.

Disney’s Wedding Pavilion
Disney’s Wedding Pavilion at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the most popular wedding venue in Disney World — and for good reason! The pavilion is located in a more secluded area of the hotel and everything is designed to create the perfect fairy tale wedding experience. From vaulted ceilings to a wall of arched windows to an ivy trellis arch that is decorated with intertwined gold weddings rings, no detail is spared.
Plus, you’ll be exchanging vows with a view of Cinderella Castle in the background! What’s so unique about this window is that it’s actually a perspective window — so, the closer you get to it, the smaller the castle looks, ensuring that your guests will be solely focused on you!
The Wedding Pavilion can accommodate up to 250 guests and can only be booked for ceremonies. The ceremony venue fee is $8,000 and the overall event minimum is $18,000 to $35,000 depending on the day of the week and time of day you have your event (which is a bit higher than other Disney wedding venues).
Citricos
For a whimsical lunch reception or farewell brunch, check out Citricos at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! The restaurant was recently refurbished with subtle touches from Mary Poppins and features a menu of new American cuisine with a Mediterranean flair.
The restaurant can seat up to 200 guests and is best for morning or afternoon events, as events here must end by 3PM so the restaurant can open up to all guests for dinner.
Sago Cay
If you’ve dreamed of an outdoor ceremony at Disney’s Grand Floridian, Sago Cay is one of only two spots where you can have it! It is a smaller venue, accommodating up to 30 guests, but offers up some of the best views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle.
When it comes to the cost, the ceremony venue fee is $7,000 and the overall event minimum is $15,000 to $19,000 depending on the day of the week and time of day you have your event.
Marina Patio & Terrace
The Marina Patio & Terrace is the other outdoor ceremony location at Disney’s Grand Floridian with views of Cinderella Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon. And, unlike Sago Cay, you can also book this spot for receptions and dessert parties if you’d like. It’s also a bit larger and can accommodate up to 100 guests, including the couple.
The ceremony venue fee is $7,000 here and the event minimum is $15,000 to $19,000 depending on the day of the week and the time of day you have your event. Just note that the location is near the hotel’s Quick Service restaurant, so you may have some “extra” guests watching from afar.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Ballrooms
The ballrooms at Disney’s Grand Floridian are the largest venues you have your wedding at the hotel and accommodate up to 800 guests. The ballrooms are decorated with the same late 1800s style that the resort is known for and include pastel colors, striped wallpapers, floral prints, brass lamps, glittery crystal chandeliers, and more.
The ballrooms can be booked for a wide array of wedding events including ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, dessert parties, and farewell brunches. Plus, they offer more flexibility in the timing of your event since they are located in the area of the hotel dedicated to conference space.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside
Oak Manor Lawn
One Disney Fairy Tale wedding venue that most people don’t know about is Oak Manor Lawn at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside! This spot can only be booked for ceremonies and offers up a picturesque setting to say “I Do.” The garden features romantic floral touches and the Sassagoula River captures the charm of the South.
Oak Manor Lawn can accommodate up to 150 guests and costs $7,000 with an event minimum of $15,000 to $19,000 depending on the day of the week and time of day that you choose to have your ceremony.
