Staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel comes with its perks, and one of the biggest benefits is extra time in the parks to ride the most popular rides with little to no wait time.
In 2021, Disney retired Extra Magic Hours and replaced it with two new Disney hotel guest perks – Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. And, while Early Theme Park Entry is open to pretty much all Disney hotel guests (and guests at a few additional hotels in the area as well), Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are exclusive to only those staying at Disney World Deluxe Resorts and Villas (see the full list of hotels HERE!).
So, if you’ve got a stay booked at a qualifying resort, it’s time to start planning what you’ll ride – here are all the attractions that are open in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios during Extended Evening Theme Park Hours:

Keep in mind that this is the list of attractions that Disney plans to have open during Extended Evening Theme Park Hours – so, they can change! Just check the My Disney Experience app to know what is and isn’t open in real-time.
Now, if you’re headed to EPCOT, you’ll probably be excited to see that Disney World’s newest roller coaster – Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – is on the list. But, there’s an EXTRA step that you’ll need to take to guarantee yourself a ride during Extended Evening Theme Park Hours!
Each evening that the perk is offered, Disney opens up an additional Virtual Queue window at 6PM (since this is currently the only way to ride the attraction without paying extra). This means that you’ll need to log into your My Disney Experience app and request to join the virtual queue at that time. If you aren’t able to secure a spot, then you won’t be able to ride the attraction that evening.
And, the same goes for the new roller coaster in Magic Kingdom — TRON Lightcycle / Run! After the ride opens on April 4th, there will be an EXTRA opportunity at 6PM to join the virtual queue for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours guests.
It’s the same process as the one at EPCOT, so you’ll just need to log into your My Disney Experience app and request to join the virtual queue at that time.
Of course, don’t forget that some restaurants and stores are still open in each park too! And, remember to secure yourself a Park Pass Reservation for the park with the extended hours (or have a valid park hopper ticket).
