Prices INCREASE at Chef Mickey’s in Disney World

Disney World may have reopened in 2020 after a temporary closure, but a lot of restaurants are still returning to “normal” across the parks and resorts.

For example, the Disney princesses just returned to greeting guests at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom and Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has undergone some major changes with a new look and menu. And, now another popular character meal is going back to the way things used to be…but it’s going to cost you more.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

As of March 1st, the buffet is BACK at Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This character restaurant has always been a popular spot for breakfast and dinner, especially since it’s one of the only spots you can meet all of the Fab 5 characters (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy) at once.

Since reopening in 2020, both breakfast and dinner have been served all-you-can-eat family-style. But, now you’ll have even more options to fill your plate with the return of the buffet. Though…that’s going to come at a cost.

Previously, Chef Mickey’s cost $45 per adult and $29 per child for breakfast. And, dinner was $60 per adult and $38 per child. However, now breakfast costs $51 per adult and $33 per child, and dinner costs $62 per adult and $39 per child.

That’s an average of about $3.25 MORE than before. So, not the biggest price jump that we’ve ever seen in Disney World, but dollars can add up when you consider how many other price increases we’ve seen at Disney over the past year.

For example, park tickets have increased in price, it costs more than ever before to stay at a Disney World hotel, and Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is also set to reopen with price increases.
