There are some BIG changes coming to Disney World Resort hotels in 2023!
Work is underway on a brand new Disney Vacation Club tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, select rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort are getting a new “under the sea” look, and the long-awaited “Hey Disney!” tablet has begun testing in guest rooms. And, now there’s another hotel getting some TLC in the new year!
Disney has announced plans to renovate guest rooms and more at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. The changes will bring “light and airy” touches to the lobby, lounge, and guest rooms.
And, it seems that the work is already underway! Belle Vue Lounge reopened in October 2022 with updated furniture including light blue and brown modern sofas and lounge chairs. Plus, there are even some new additions to the menu.
But, new furniture isn’t all that guests have to look forward to! Disney also revealed that a new coffee bar will also debut in the lobby in 2022. You can expect to find to-go artisanal coffees and small bites with “refreshed” seating available inside and outside.
These changes join other updates that have been announced for Disney’s BoardWalk including The Cake Bake Shop opening in 2023 in the former location of the ESPN Club and the debut of the BoardWalk Deli (which replaced the BoardWalk Bakery and is now open).
Disney has not yet announced an official opening date for the new coffee bar in Disney’s BoardWalk Inn or shared any details on what the enhanced rooms will look like, but we’ll be on the lookout for the latest.
