So, you’ve got your Disney World hotel stay booked…now what? It’s time to plan your park days!
Currently, Disney requires that all guests have a valid park ticket AND a Park Pass Reservation for the park that they plan to visit each day of their trip (even if you plan to park hop!). And, with park passes booking up sometimes months in advance for particularly busy times of the year it’s more important than ever before to nail down your vacation details early. So, to help you get planning, we’ve got a look at the Disney World Park hours for the FULL MONTH of March 2023!
Magic Kingdom
March 1-4
Starting off with Magic Kingdom, you’ll need to pay attention to the park hours at the beginning of the month because there are some special events going on! The park is set to open from 9AM to 11PM on March 1st, 3rd, and 4th. And, the hours shift a little earlier on Thursday with the park open from 8AM to 10PM on March 2nd.
Keep in mind too that guests staying at any Disney World Resort hotel can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, so really the hours are 8:30AM (or 7:30AM on Thursday) to close for you! And, there are also Extended Evening Hours available for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Villas on March 1st from 11PM to 1AM and Disney After Hours will take place on Thursday from 10PM to 1AM. This is a ticketed event that is an additional cost on top of your park ticket.
March 5-11
From March 5th to 11th, Magic Kingdom will be open 9AM to 11PM on March 5th and 7th-11th, and then shift a little earlier once again on March 6th with the park hours being 8AM to 10PM because of the Disney After Hours event that evening.
And, once again, Extended Evening Hours will be available from 11PM to 1AM on Wednesday, March 8th for select guests.
March 12-18
Park hours at Magic Kingdom switch up slightly again the week of March 12th-18th! The park will be open from 9AM to 11PM on March 12th, 15th, 17th, and 18th and then shift an hour earlier on March 13th, 14th, and 16th to be open from 8AM to 10PM.
Those staying at the Disney resorts that qualify for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours can get some extra time in Magic Kingdom on March 15th from 11PM to 1AM. And, Disney After Hours is back in Magic Kingdom on March 13th and 16th from 10PM to 1AM.
March 19-25
For the week of March 19th to 25th, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM to 11PM daily with the exception of March 20th when the park hours are 8AM to 10PM because Disney After Hours is that evening from 10PM to 1AM.
Again, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours will take place in Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, March 21st from 11PM to 1AM.
March 26-31
The final week of March is more of the same with the park opening from 9AM to 11PM on March 26th, 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st, and then shifting from 8AM to 10PM on March 27th.
Disney After Hours will be offered on March 27th with ticketed guests having exclusive access to the park from 10PM to 1AM.
EPCOT
March 1-4
If you’re planning a visit to EPCOT the first week of March, you can soak up a full 12 hours every day! EPCOT will open from 9AM to 9PM from March 1st to 4th giving you plenty of time to enjoy all of the food booths and entertainment that is part of the Flower & Garden Festival.
And, just like Magic Kingdom, Disney Resort hotel guests can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry every day of the month, allowing you to enter the park 30 minutes prior to the park opening.
March 5-11
EPCOT park hours remain consistent throughout the following week too, opening from 9AM to 9PM March 5th through 11th. Plus, guests staying at hotels that qualify for Extended Evening Hours can stay later in EPCOT on March 6th from 9PM to 11PM. Just be sure that you have a Park Pass Reservation for EPCOT or have a valid park hopper ticket and have already visited the park that you had a reservation for earlier in the day.
March 12-18
Things stay the same again the next week at EPCOT with the park open from 9AM to 9PM daily from March 12th to 18th. And, if you’re staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or Villa, be sure to note on your calendar that Extended Evening Hours take place at EPCOT on Monday, March 13th from 9PM to 11PM.
March 19-25
EPCOT park hours are once again the same from March 19th to 25th opening from 9AM to 9PM with Extended Evening Hours on March 20th from 9PM to 11PM.
March 26-31
And, to wrap up the month, EPCOT will open from 9AM to 9PM between March 26th and 31st. Again, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered on Monday, March 27th from 9PM to 11PM.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
March 1-4
Now over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Park hours are easy to remember here — it’s the same all month long! But, there are a few special events that could mean you get more park time (for an extra cost).
So, for the first week of March, you can visit Hollywood Studios daily from 8:30AM to 9:30PM. And, like other parks, Disney World Resort hotel guests can enter 30 minutes early throughout the entire month with Early Theme Park Entry!
March 5-11
Park hours remain the same the week of March 5th to 11th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the park open from 8:30AM to 9:30PM daily. And, Disney After Hours return to Hollywood Studios from 9:30pm to 12:30PM on Wednesday, March 8th.
March 12-18
Things stay the same between March 12th to 18th. So, you can spend over 12 hours in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with the park open from 8:30AM to 9PM every day of the week.
March 19-25
It’s more of the same from March 19th to 25th with the park open from 8:30AM to 9:30PM!
And, there’s a chance to get even more time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios — Disney After Hours is set to take place on March22nd, with ticketed guests being able to stay in the park an extra three hours from 9:30PM to 12:30PM.
March 26-31
And, if you’re visiting the last week of March, you can explore Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, and more daily from 8:30AM to 9:30PM with Disney After Hours taking place on March 29th from 9:30PM to 12:30AM.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
March 1-4
Because Disney’s Animal Kingdom is so heavily focused on the ability to see animals in their natural habitat throughout the day, the park usually opens and closes the earliest of all four theme parks in Disney World. So, while most parks are open past 9PM in March, Disney’s Animal Kindom has shorter hours, opening from 8AM to 7PM on March 1st, and 8AM to 8PM on March 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
Don’t forget about Early Theme Park Entry too if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel!
March 5-11
Park hours are a bit more consistent at Disney’s Animal Kingdom between March 5th to 11th with the park opening daily from 8AM to 8PM.
March 12-18
The week of March 12th to 18th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open once again from 8AM to 8PM daily.
March 19-25
And, things are the same from March 19th to 25th with Disney’s Animal Kingdom open from 8AM to 8PM every day of the week.
March 26-31
And, finally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom opens from 8AM to 8PM every day from March 26th to March 31st.
Disney Springs
If you want to get in some extra shopping and dining during your trip, Disney Springs is the place to go! Here’s when Disney Springs will open throughout the month of March:
- Sundays: 10AM-11PM
- Mondays: 10AM-11PM
- Tuesdays: 10AM-11PM
- Wednesdays: 10AM-11PM
- Thursdays: 10AM-11PM
- Fridays: 10AM-11:30PM
- Saturdays: 10AM-11:30PM
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
It’s officially spring on March 20th, so why not take a break and check out a water park? If you’re planning a visit to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park to see the new Frozen-themed water play area and more, it will open the following hours throughout the entire month of March:
- Sundays: 10AM-5PM
- Mondays: 10AM-5PM
- Tuesdays: 10AM-5PM
- Wednesdays: 10AM-5PM
- Thursdays: 10AM-5PM
- Fridays: 10AM-5PM
- Saturdays: 10AM-5PM
Keep in mind that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is currently closed for refurbishment, so Blizzard Beach will be your only water park option in March.
And, that’s a wrap on Disney World’s park hours in March! Note that all four Disney Parks have park hopping available for guests who have purchased a park hopper ticket beginning at 2PM to park close. If you are park hopping, be sure that you’ve scanned into your first park of the day where you have a park pass reservation for — otherwise, you won’t be able to get into the other parks!
