NAME and MENU Items Revealed For New Coffee Shop At Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

A new coffee shop is coming to Disney World…but it’s not where you expect!

Earlier this year, Disney announced that they were beginning renovations at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. So far, we’ve seen new furniture arrive in Belle Vue Lounge to give it a beachier feel, and now we’ve got details on a brand new cafe coming to the lobby!

According to Disney, the new coffee shop will be named Carousel Coffee — pretty fitting for the seaside boardwalk theme. And, if you were hoping for a new Starbucks location…it’s not.

Carousel Coffee will serve Artisan Roasted Joffrey’s Coffee, teas, and pastries. The full menu is yet to come, but we do know that three of the coffee selections will be a Dark Cherry Mocha Frozen Blended Coffee topped with whipped cream, Cinnamon Bun Frozen Blended Coffee topped with whipped cream, and Nitro Cold Brew.

Plus, for all you non-coffee drinkers, you can look forward to the Pomegranate-Green Tea Lemonade which is made with fresh-squeezed lemon juice thoroughly blended with pomegranate green tea and a touch of agave and served over ice.

We can’t forget about all the things to eat too! Disney shared that the bakery will include treats like a Vintage Mickey & Minnie Sugar Cookie, Banana Bread, Croissant, Blueberry Muffin, Chocolate Muffin, NJ Crumb Cake, Mickey Brownie, and Bagels. Of course, the menu wouldn’t be complete without something brand new, right? The Crunchy Raspberry Danish might end up as the must-try item here. It is a crispy sugar dough layered with hibiscus fondant and raspberry.

We’ll have to put it to the (taste) test!

Once completed, Carousel Coffee will be one of only FOUR coffee shops available in the Disney World hotels. Currently, guests can only visit a full coffee bar on the ground floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Cat Scat’s Cafe at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter, and Le Petit Cafe at Disney Riviera Resort. All the other resorts just serve coffee in their Quick Service restaurants.

Disney has not yet shared the full menu and opening date, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it is revealed! And, in the meantime, stay tuned to The VacationEAR for more of the latest Disney hotel news and updates!
