Step Inside The NEW DVC Rooms Coming To The Disneyland Hotel!

The Disneyland Resort hotels are expanding! …well, kind of!

It’s been a few years since Disney announced that they would be building a new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) tower at Disneyland Hotel and a lot has changed in that time! In 2021, the other towers at the Disneyland Hotel reopened with refurbished rooms, and construction on the new tower has been well underway.

And, now we’ve got a BIG update on when the new DVC tower will open and what the rooms will look like!

According to Disney, The Villas at Disneyland Hotel are set to open on September 28th, 2023 with reservations becoming available to book next month in March!

In the creation of the theming for the new 12-story tower, which will be known as the Discover Tower, Disney Imagineers have looked to Walt Disney’s sketching style to create a design that blends “timeless Walt Disney Animation Studios classics with contemporary designs.”

Here’s a peek inside!

First up we’ve got a look at the new Duo Studio. This will be the smallest room type available and will have designs that are inspired by The Jungle Book. So, when you pull down your bed for the night (which also doubles as a couch during the day), you’ll sleep alongside Baloon and Mowgli.

Next up is the Deluxe Studio, which is a bit bigger and themed to either Sleeping Beauty (which is shown in the concept art below) or The Princess and the Frog.

Need more space? The One- and Two-Bedroom Villas offer just that! This room type will sleep anywhere between 5 guests and up to 9 guests depending on what room side you choose.

The One-Bedroom Villas are the smaller of the two and themed after Disney’s Fantasia. The living area even includes a pull-down bed (that converts into a couch during the day), a washer and dryer, and a full-size kitchen equipped with cookware.

And, the Two-Bedroom Villas feature nods to The Princess and the Frog along with the same full-size kitchen (with cookware), dining table/living area, pull-down bed, and washer and dryer that can be found in the one-bedroom villas.

Finally, we’ve also got a look at some of the biggest rooms coming to The Villas at Disneyland Hotel — the Grand Villa! This MULTILEVEL villa features three bedrooms and sleeps up 12 (!!) people. Plus, it’s themed to multiple classic Disney movies.

We’ll start off on the first floor, where there’s a double-sided fireplace connecting the living area to a private outdoor balcony, a full-size kitchen (again, with cookware), a large dining area, and the primary suite which is themed after Bambi.

The other two bedrooms (with bathrooms) are themed after Disney’s Frozen and Moana and are located upstairs. The second floor is also where you’ll find the full-sized washer and dryer.

And, here’s a look at the Grand Villa’s outdoor patio space!

As the fourth tower at the Disneyland Hotel, guests who stay here will be steps away from the Downtown Disney District (and, in turn, the parks). Plus, you won’t have to venture to the other towers for amenities — the villas will have their own pool and restaurant!

Get a peek at what the rest of the resort will look like in the new video shared by the Disney Vacation Club below!
