It turns out that having a Disney VISA credit card is more than just something that makes you feel a little better about spending money…it can also help you SAVE money on your next Disney World vacation!
In 2023, Disney VISA Cardmembers can get discounts on Disney World hotel reservations on select dates, merchandise, dining, and more. And, now there’s a NEW discount that any Star Wars fan is sure to be excited about!
Disney has announced that Disney VISA Cardmembers can save 30% off stays (also known as voyages) at Disney World’s immersive Star Wars hotel — Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser — on select dates in 2023! This is similar to the Disney World Annual Passholder and DVC savings that have recently been offered, but some of the dates are a bit different.
Here’s the full list of departure dates that Disney VISA Cardmembers can save on:
- May 1, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 19, 21, 23, 25, 29 and 31
- June 2, 4, 6, 14, 18, 20, 24, 26 and 28
- July 2, 8, 10, 22, 24 and 30
- August 3, 13 and 29
- September 8 and 16
Keep in mind that these are the dates that you’ll “board” the Galactic Starcruiser for a 2-night stay. So, really you’re getting 30% off that entire trip since all your food and more are included in the cost.

And, as a reminder, prices at the Galactic Starcruiser start at $4,809 for 2 guests, $5,299 for 2 adults and 1 child, and $5,999 for 3 adults and 1 child for most weeknight voyages. Keep in mind that this is just the lowest cost according to Disney and prices can vary a lot depending on when you’re traveling, how many people are in your party, and what room you’re booking.
Now for some of the fine print on this Disney VISA Cardmember deal.
To book the voyage with the discount, you must pay the deposit using a Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Card. Additionally, the Disney Visa Cardmember must be staying in the room (a.k.a. you can’t book the discount for someone else). The only exclusion to the savings are stays booked in the Galaxy Class Suites and Grand Captain Suites.
To take advantage of the savings, you’ll need to call (407) 939-5271 or speak with a Disney travel agent to book your stay. Note that if you are a Disney Visa Cardmember and already have an upcoming voyage booked on the Galactic Starcruiser for any of these dates, the discount cannot be applied. In this case, you will need to cancel your reservation and rebook with the savings (pending availability).
Keep in mind that anyone can become a Disney Visa Cardmember — just head to the Chase website to learn more! And, be sure to book sooner rather than later, as this deal is limited.
