Alright, Star Wars fans, you may not have to shell out quite as much cash to visit Disney World’s highly-immersive Star Wars hotel — there’s a brand new discount!
If you’re not familiar, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a new one-of-a-kind hotel in Disney World. However, calling it a hotel doesn’t necessarily do it justice. The best way to describe it is a mix between a cruise and a murder mystery game where the storyline you follow throughout your 2-night stay “onboard” the starcruiser is your very own Star Wars story. It’s basically a Star Wars fan’s dream, but you certainly don’t need to be a fan of the franchise to have A LOT of fun!
Since opening last year, the cost of staying at the Galactic Starcruiser has been a hot topic. But, we’ve started to see Disney rolling out some discounts to make it more accessible to guests including an exclusive discount for Disney Vacation Club members (plus a DVC member-only voyage!) and a discount for a hotel reservation at select Disney World hotels when paired with a voyage to extend your stay.
And, now even more guests can save on a stay at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser!
For a limited time, Disney World Annual Passholders can save 30% off voyages on select dates in the spring and summer of 2023! This is similar to the DVC savings, but more dates are included.
Here’s the full list of departure dates that Annual Passholders can save on:
- April 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27 and 29
- May 1, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 19, 21, 23, 25, 29 and 31
- June 2, 4, 6, 14, 18, 20, 24, 26 and 28
- July 2
Keep in mind that these are the dates that you’ll “board” the Galactic Starcruiser for a 2-night stay. So, really you’re getting 30% off that entire trip since all your food and more are included in the cost.

And, as a reminder, prices at the Galactic Starcruiser start at $4,809 for 2 guests, $5,299 for 2 adults and 1 child, and $5,999 for 3 adults and 1 child for most weeknight voyages. Keep in mind that this is just the lowest cost according to Disney and prices can vary greatly depending on when you’re traveling, how many people are in your party, and what room you’re booking.
Now for some of the fine print.
To take advantage of the discount, the Disney World Annual Passholder must be one of the people staying in the cabin (a.k.a. you can’t book the deal for someone else) and must present proof of membership at check-in. Additionally, only one cabin can be booked by each passholder, and Galaxy Class Suites and Grand Captain Suites are not included.
To make a reservation with this offer, you’ll need to call (407) 827-7379 or speak with a travel agent. Note that if you’re an Annual Passholder and already have a voyage on the Galactic Starcruiser booked for these dates, the discount will not be applied. In this case, you would need to cancel your reservation and rebook with the savings.
