The NEW Disney World Hotel Discount That ANYONE Can Use

A Disney World vacation is fun, magical, exciting, and…expensive. But, before you look into taking out a second mortgage on your home to afford the trip of a lifetime, we’ve got some good news — there are ways to SAVE!

In 2023, we’ve seen some major discounts for guests choosing to stay at a Disney World hotel including savings of up to $100 per night, extra discounts for Annual Passholders, Florida Residents, Disney Vacation Club members, AND active or retired U.S. military members. But, pretty much all of these discounts were set to expire at the end of August…until now!

Disney just announced a new hotel guest discount that can save you up to 30% off your Disney hotel stay most nights between July and September 2023. This is a great opportunity to save some money on your vacation and make the most of your time at the parks.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

The details on this one are a little more particular with two separate opportunities to save. Here’s how it breaks down:

  • You can save up to 25% on stays most nights from July 11th to August 20th, and September 15th to September 28th, 2023.
  • Or, save up to 30% on stays most nights from August 21st to September 14th, 2023.

The amount of money that you’ll save depends on what hotel you book. And, we’ve got the details to help you figure out what is going to be the best deal for you and you’re family!

Savings On Stays Between July 11th-August 20th & September 15th-28th

If you’ve got a Disney vacation booked mid to late summer, you’ll be saving a little less than the amount you could get mid-season, but there are still some pretty great deals. And, every penny saved counts…right?!

If you want to save the most, you’ll want to choose one of the following Disney Deluxe Resorts. You can get 25% off:

Keep in mind that these are some of the most expensive hotels in Disney World. So, even with the savings, it won’t be the cheapest nightly rate compared to other Disney hotels. But, if you want to make your Disney Resort one of the main attractions, this is a great way to make these expensive hotels fit into your budget.

Disney’s Riviera Resort

Next up we’ve got savings at some of Disney World’s Moderate Resorts and family suite options. You can save 20% off stays at:

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Or, get 15% off reservations at the following hotels:

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

And, lastly, those traveling with larger families that need more space can save up to 10% at select Disney Vacation Club Resorts (and more!) including:

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Keep in mind that these are the savings on reservations with travel dates between July 11th to August 20th and September 15th to 28th, 2023.

Savings On Stays Between August 21st to September 14th

You can unlock some even bigger savings at the same hotels if you choose to travel between August 21st and September 14th, 2023. Confused why this is the case? Well, Disney tends to be a bit slower these few weeks in the late summer because most schools in the U.S. are starting back up. So, you’ll enjoy a cheaper hotel stay AND maybe even be treated to fewer crowds in the parks if you vacation during this time.

Let’s get to what the actual savings look like.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

You can save up to 30% at select Disney Deluxe Resorts and Villas (and some Moderate Resorts too!) including:

And, lastly, the discounts includes savings of up to 10% at the following Disney hotels:

Now, these savings are only available for a VERY limited time, with travel dates needing to be between August 21st-September 14th, 2023 — that’s only four weeks!

One thing that makes both of these deals even sweeter is the fact that August and September are two of the CHEAPEST months to stay at a hotel in Disney World! So, you’ll be getting some of the best rates in 2023.

There are a few other things to know about this discount that is included in the fine print. The offer can only be applied to stays between 1 to 14 nights and cannot be combined with any other promotions. Additionally, it excludes 3-bedroom villas, Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, and Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

Now, if you already have a Disney World vacation booked during these dates and want to take advantage of the discount, contact Disney to see if they can add the offer to your stay (you may also be able to do this online!). If they’re unable to do so, you can always cancel and rebook your stay. Just note that your exact room type may not be available when you go to book again, so check Disney’s website before you move forward with the cancelation. And, if you’re planning a trip earlier in 2023, there’s still a deal for you — there’s already a discount available for Disney hotel bookings from March through July!
